In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Belgium showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 26K by the end of June. Weekly active users also grew, starting at 2.3M and rising to about 2.5M.

Polarsteps Travel experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 27K in the last week of June. Active users increased from 108K to 224K throughout the quarter.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate with a slight increase towards the end, reaching 7K. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended with a notable rise to 6.4M.

RouteYou - walking and cycling saw a notable climb in weekly revenue, peaking at $11.9K in the last week of June. Downloads initially climbed but later stabilized around 4.5K, while active users showed some fluctuations, ending at 21.7K.

Google Earth demonstrated steady download activity, reaching about 4.7K weekly. Active users increased from 55K to 63K by the end of the quarter.
